Over to the panel...
Nephew in NZ sent me photos from a car club meet last Sunday
A 1937 V8 as clues, but what make/model?
![]()
I looked at that era Citroen, don't think so, the 1935 Rosalie was bigger, and flat rather than curved front.
Beyond that ... don't know
Maybe ... looks like it, had to resort to a a Google of prewar British pickup trucks
The Fordson E83W, (also sold from 1952 under the Thames brand[3] as Ford Thames E83W), is a 10 cwt (half ton) light commercial vehicle that was built by Ford of Britain at the Ford Dagenham assembly plant (home of Fordson tractors) between 1938 and 1957. The van was sold in Australia as the Ford Ten-Ten, and the E83W was available in various forms around much of the world as Britain strove to export after World War II.
prawnograhs 1937 car looks like a ford 78, the yellow car behind it is a 63 cadillac.
his yellow truck a few posts back also looks like a ford, but i have no idea about the red one.
The red one is a Ford Thames pickup from around the 1940's.
I think the yellow one is the same in the van version, but not 100% sure.
