Telephone lines in Thailand

Can any of you knowledgeable guys give me some information about the cost of a telephone line. I live not far from Sattahip. There is a telephone cable goes right by the front of my house.

Actually I only need the line for the internet so that I can install internet CCTV.

True just installed our internet free, including the wifi modem etc

Find out which ISP is supplying your area and call them. Cable from pole to house is part of the installation which us usually free.

I'm not far from Sukhumvit Rd near Nong Nooch garden and I've now been waiting for 3 years with Dtac Baan Ampur "for the parts to be sent from BKK" for the internet.
I've resigned myself to the fact that the Dtac aircard is my only option.

I just paid True 2000bt (refundable at end of 12 months) to install a 10mb Cable Modem. 600 per month. If you use TOT they charge about 1200bt for a line installation (as it runs past your house)

Ive had both ToT and True, both installs were free.
