That's usually it. Last week I decided to cut out cheese and sugar. I don't eat lots of sugar and I don't take it in my coffee or tea, but I love my chocolate. I also love cheese. Since I have recurring back problems thanks to 2 herniated discs and a screwed up hip joint, I can't do any hard exercise anymore.

I have been doing yoga and swimming, and I managed to lose 2 kilos in about a month. Now with cutting out some 'bad' foods, I hope things will go smoothly. Re bread and pasta, I've cut down on them a lot and I rarely eat rice. Hopefully I see some good results soon.

If you can do this now, while you're in your 30's, then it will be that much easier when you get older. It's all about habits.

have you tried "callanetics", natalie8... i think its inventor callan pinkney (or similar) developed the excercises particularly for people with damaged joints and pain, as she is suffering from something like that herself...

Pirate Bay is blocked here, but I have Pirate Browser which lets me on to the torrent sites. Is that link for callanetics? I've downloaded a few Jillian Michaels workouts, Insanity and a couple of others.

I did find one on YouTube which looks like it's from the same era, but it's in Polish.

I'm following a low carb, high fiber, high protein, low fat diet at the moment, with the purpose being to lose fat, build muscle and maintain a healthy weight.

Regards the food in Thailand, I find lots of fresh vegetables and stir fried everywhere.

I never go for anything deep fried, its foking shit and crap palm oil is used. Lots of fruit and juices available, no reason what so ever to have a dodgy diet.

Also in many of the parks there are free weights available, no reason to pay money and join a gym either.

Bangkok is well tooled up in free fitness opportunities and its a mater of just getting off ones fat arse and using them.

I'm a fart away from lumpini park, its foking brilliant in there. I'm going to buy a push bike.

I don't know how you can find the motivation to exercise outdoors in most of Thailand, due to the heat. The fucking worst has got to be Bangkok and environs. But when in Thailand, do what the Thais do, I guess. I lived in Lop Buri, not too far away from BKK, and I never seen peephole with the metabolism of sloths before. I mean taxi drivers, street vendors, etc., could immobilize themselves for hours on end. Have you noticed that?

that is my height and weight
and i started yesterday, i am paranoid of becoming fat, im only 32 and have never been this heavy, i will cut food intake just as it should be, low carbs and no sugar, and exercise for 30 mins non stop every morning before any food or drink, also for lunch is fruit and very light salad or raw veg, no starchy foods at all, zero, actually only brown rice, morning and evening, no alcohol and no more that 5 ciggies a day,
(for now) also as much bed action as possible(burn calories)
actually i will not look at the scale no more but instead at the full size mirror and clothes and an assessment of the progress
    Sorry about me horrible speling

Not forgetting that Lumpini is sort of linked to Queen Sirikit or whatever that park is called. OK you have to carry the bike up some stairs but that just adds to the exercise.

Just get on with it and do it. You adjust pretty quickly (unless you're old, obese or have some kind of medical condition, in which case you'll probably die pretty quickly).
