I would have to say Lobster Pot on walking street or Ruin Thai opposite the Marriot Hotel in Pattaya or if in Jomtien then then there is an Austrian Restaurant in Jomtien Complex cant think of the name but excellent food and service

Location is good, food about average, but expensive because of the location.
For the same food but cheaper & better, at the far end of Jomtien there is Lung Sawai. Or at the far end of Naklua there is Moma Aroi- decent location, cheaper, surprisingly upmarket ambiance but not expensive. Likewise Preecha in Ban Amphur- but you'll absolutey need your own wheels. Of course for a visitor the problem is getting to these places.

Ruen Thai is a pretty good choice- reasonably priced and decent food considering it's location, target tourist market, and the fact that it puts on a Thai regional dance show at night, well worth seeing. I make a point of taking visitors there.
