One needs an account at those other media pages, and then it will post links to TD on them.

IMO you should add stumble and facebook icons as well.

Jools on Sukhumvit Soi 4 used to have great food including honey cured gammon steak and my favourite Toad in the Hole.
Then again I like to eat Stodge Food where you can use your fingers and not one for this serviette formal type of dining.

Ubon- Spago is quite the best. Franco the owner used to have an Italian restaurant in Soho for many years.

No thanks. I ordered an Angus steak rare last time I was in and it came but was several days out of date and tough as old boots.

    Suk Soi 38?

The Indian isn't bad either (they used to have a branch in the Emporium) but it is well over-priced. Beautiful setting though.

The street food on Sukhumvit Soi 36 down the road is a real experience as well and better value.

I prefer the Thai restaurant over the Sukhumvit Road under the Thong Lor BTS and next to the women only apartments. In an old shop house but the food is tremendous and they are open v. late.

I had spare ribs covered with Barbeque sauce mate and it was really delicious with no chemical flavours.

My wife had John Dory fillets and guess what...........it tasted just like fish!

Again great food for the kids also and the salad bar is fantastic.

There have been E Coli outbreaks in branches of Sizzler in the US and the Aussie branches were all closed in 2006 due to food safety concerns.

Always wary of eating there as the employees are only a side-step away from McDonalds burger-flippers.

No the Taffy scrum was total plastic last night and for me as a dad trying to please a big family the food there is more than acceptable.

Have either of you, Bob and Tud eaten in Sizzlers Pattaya?

Oooops, he's not having a laugh......

Sizzlers is still garbage though...... far worse than the welsh scrum ever was, after all I'd still pay to watch them, I decline free Sizzlers regularly.

Family-in-law thinks it quite a treat to take me there during visits. They're trying to be kind. Although the product is quite poor relative to a real U.S. "steakhouse", it is sort of pleasurable to occasionally tear into something that hasn't already been cut up for you. I don't often crave beef while in Thailand but would be interested in competent alternatives so that the fam-in-law might learn what properly aged cow is like.

I agree. If they just put a bit more on the plate it would be even better.

If you want a good steak in pats go through in the gardens of The Marriott (heading towards the beach) I can't remember its name but you can get a fantastic beef steak there.
c'est fantastic !. just to make it clear it is one of the marriott's restaurants.
