    Chang House in Ayutthaya

If you want to have a pleasant meal at a place with a gracious host, then you should drop by the Chang House in Ayutthaya.

If you want to be bunged up for few days, then go across the street to Tony's place an chow down!! I had the trots for two days after eating at Tony's.

And caught a glimpse of infamous Teakdoor poster, Roc, browsing the internet, but not Teakdoor.

Posted with his permission of course.

Tell us more about this place chitown as I have read Rocs ramblings for quite a while and am very interested. Is it in a good location, does it have wifi, mainly tourists, western locals or thais, what is the rest of his menu like???? Come on mate - I expected better then this from you!!!
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

There are Indian Curries, hamburgers, and other Western food on the menu.

Tourists? Well there was a few tables of fat fat girls, a fat farang girl with a skinny farang boyfriend, and a lone farang having a beer.

I think Mrs. Chi took a pic of one of the farang girls...hold on.

I dont want to sound cheap but thats one egg, with two pieces of Thai white bread, not toast, some beans, and bits of sausage and pork. Half a thai tomato thrown in. 140 baht seems very high. It is a traveler place and all.

Just that one dish though. I have heard very good things about the place. Ayuthaya has a certain charm about it. People who live there rarely leave, but often go back.

There is a good sized piece of English bacon under the bread as well. The "bread" as you call it is very lightly toasted. Roc offered to toast it some more, but I declined.

The breakfast also comes with Freedom Fries.

I think my driver usually takes our tours to Tonys. I'll have to tell him to try across the road...any idea about the lunches there?..

Now we are talking, hash browns or home fries, and a better slice of bread would be nice. Put it all on a bigger plate for presentation. Now I am getting hungry.
