It's not out yet, so don't know if that question can be answered. I just installed the technical preview as a new install because I have no fear.

Not a bad deal for me. I will need to buy a new one anyway and will do it before the offer expires. That should last me until WIN 12 or so.:)
It installs over the old system, so no dual boot. But I can make a backup before installing and play that back into a parallel partition. That enables dual boot.
