Have you seen the new facebook Layout ?. Anyone can now click on any Month of a Year and see what you were up to on that specific day.

Only if you input the information in the first place.

Clean the shit off before you switch to it. You have a week.

This layout is optional. You can have it if you upgrade and you have one week to change it if you dont like. Personally i dont like it...

It's not optional any more. You'll get told when you have a week to upgrade.

I'm glad I hardly post anything on facebook. Tedious task to remove everything on my timeline.


I moved to G+ a few months ago because of all the crap that facebook does. Sadly nobody else moved.

G+ is crap.

I find FB good, cos I live overseas, means family can see pics and see my children growing up. I don't bother with strangers, like all things, depends how you use it.

I don't want to be friends with you wankers any ways. But yes it it is garbage..

Yep, I tried G+ and gave it up after a few weeks, as did most people I know.

How do I opt out? I have not upgraded and dont want it nor do any of my friends. I have been hearing this shit for a week now. I will just keep with what I have if thats alright. Thank you very much. Plus I have to use it for my job.

It used to be optional, now it's not. You can delete everything on it post by post.

Well I still have the old version. Fingers crossed, as I will stop and just use skype if forced.

Seriously, who cares.

Every time they do this people say how they like the current layout but hate the new one blah blah. And then, when the time comes to make a new layout again they say the same thing over and over, having forgotten they complained just as much about the one they are now trying to keep!

I bet there is a thread on here complaining when they switched to the current layout with the same people who are now complaining about the new layout and want to keep the one they were complaining about in the old thread....

I'd start planning on using Skype then, because you will get notified at some stage that you will be upgraded in 7 days, giving you time to remove anything you don't want or to adjust your privacy settings.

all your skype contacts who have facebook would have been asked if they want you as a friend - because both programs leak info between them

as far as I know there is not option in skype to stop facebook javascripts from requesting its contact list

In Skype, View, Skype Home and click on the cog to Disconnect from Facebook.

In Facebook, you have to edit your accounts settings, can't remember off hand, I'll dig it out.
