Tai O Fishing Village
From Central, take the ferry from Central Pier 6 to Mui Wo, then Bus No. 1 to Tai O.
From Kowloon, easiest is the MTR to Tung Chung Station, then Bus No. 11 to Tai O.
the bus trips are interesting in themselves, and tai o village is a trip back in time and a complete contrast to most of the rest of hong kong.
Interesting is there anywhere to say out there away from the noise of Kowloon?
i dont know, if not on the island itself i'm sure there will be places nearby.
Repulse Bay or Discovery Bay if the weather is decent.
