It is approaching time for me to renew the tax on the roller skate.

Has anyone tried doing this online? I can only see a 13-digit Thai ID offering.

Here the easy way to do it is go to the local Department of Land Transport office with insurance policy. All vehical checks (emission, brakes, lights etc.) done in 30 mins. Go back next day and pick up the sticker.

Yes, you can buy that online at the DLT site.

However, it seems it's 13-digit ID only, and the one I got with my last vaccination has expired - it seems they were only temporary.

All you need is the blue book and maybe some ID.

Anyone can rock up and pay tax for any vehicle.

I believe it's 7 years for the physical check but you can get those done all over the place to save the big queue at the transport office.

7 for a bike, anyway.
