I'll be amazed if you don't like it - I'm amazed that it had passed me buy - how many other gems are out there I wonder?

    From Wiki:
Alligator is the third album by indie rock band, The National. This album was on many end of year top 10 lists. Uncut Magazine and Planet Sound had it as a top 2 album of the year. This album was the first that brought The National real critical acclaim and led them to headline a tour, with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah opening.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!

Well off to bed and The Best of Sade to help me slep.
Actually just Sade would help me sleep but will have to make do with the CD for now (remaining optimistic).

I read this first as 'Slade'....The first misread was confusing, the second misread was downright scary

Answers by She's Spanish, I'm American....A truly dreadful name for an act, but that aside this is one song of five on a very decent quality pop EP.

Not impressed with The National (Boxer). It's well dreary. Reminds me of those snooze merchants Tindersticks or Nick Cave. British Sea Power is going to end up in the bin too.

It's good that we all don't like the same things....if we did the queues would be terrible....Try Abel by The National....one last song, one last try.

Gotan Project - Lunatico - Tango music apparently, but I shouldn't think that it is actually fruit flavoured carbonated soft drink brand specific. I am drinking Diet Coke Citrus Zest at the moment and the music still sounds fine.

Stand out track from album for me: Celos.

Okay Marmers, to make up for recommending The National (you should still try the album Alligator though....)

This is one you can not fail to like:

    Artist: Of Montreal

Song: The Past is a Grotesque Animal
Album - Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer

11 minutes 23 seconds of music and words put together in such a way that they form a tune.

OK. I've got it downloading now. It'd better be good as your 'good to bad' ration is getting a bit iffy.

Panda Bear - Person Pitch....Hard to describe this album....indecipherable lyrics, not sure that the words are English, human, or even from the planet Earth.

I'll leave that one alone then.
