    Software from Torrents

I have just downloaded Pinnacle Studio and I now have a ISO, bin and cue file.

How do I install the application from that ?

I have DL a little thingy and mounted it as a virtual drive.

The install starts and then says not enough disk space but I have 14GB of free space. What next ?

^ You have to burn it to a CD, as an ISO is a CD image file.

You should be able to bung the BIN file into Nero and it will do it automatically.

^ If I remember correctly, you just open the BIN file with Nero and it burns everything nicely for you. The BIN file is like an info file, and the other files are the data files.

The files are too big for a CD and I don't have nero 'cos it's crap.

I have got the Virtual CD drive to work now.
You should try it, can read and install straight from hard disk.

    It's easier than that Thetters.
Use WinRAR to open the ISO, extract to folder of your choise.
Execute the setup.exe in that folder.

    Huge amount of goodies available.
I have been trying to get a copy of Pinnacle for 6 months but couldn't find it anywhere. Took me 6 minutes to find a torrent.

you need to download a torrent client first.

azureus or utorrent seem to be the 2 most popular ones.

I think there's lots of help in the computer forum here somewhere.
Couldn't live without it after getting rid of UBC.
    mine is downloading practically 24/7.

As well if you download and install something called Daemon Tools you can mount ISOs and such without having to burn them to a disk.

    Great tool

On another note just be careful where you get torrents, many come pre packed with new friends for your pc nowadays, so always use a site you trust or with user comments.

Can anyone recommend any torrent site half as trusted as demonoid?

I give mvgroup my blessing for documentaties etc, and though btjunkie, fuldlls and torrentspy, are mostly fine for software/movies etc they do produce the occasional torrent stuck at 85-99.8%, password cyberchases (=auto delete), and otherwise duff torrents.

    Personally I'd google 'UIF files'
Apparently Magic ISO can open them

    Burn .UIF file - MagicISO

Googles a hell of a lot quicker than posting here, for some stuff anyway
