Of course it ate his card and when he went into the bank the next morning (at opening time) to get it back, they told him no and that they were going to throw it it away. They said he had to contact his bank and have the card sent here. He called his bank and they said they will not send a card overseas and he has stopped his mail at his house until he gets back.
He is older and has no family in the states to wire him money. The guy is debt free in the US and has never believed in credit cards. He also is not one to carry large amounts of cash on him.
He has some money, but not no even close enough to cover 10% of his vacation. He plans on touring all around Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos.
Should he get into a battle with the bank over this or should I loan him the cash?
Has anyone else had this happen and has throwing a fit and demanding the bank to give you your card back got you any results???
Thanks guys,
