What's the name of the border point in Surin or Buriram or wherever it is..bored of going to Aranyaprathet....and the road between Korat and Surin looks like a nice easy ride.

Thats the one. You'll prefer this a lot to Aran ST. Last time I used it I was the only Falang about. There is the usual Casino on the Cambodian side off to the left as you pass through the border control. The cambodian entry hut is a bit to the right of straight ahead and about 70 metres away ( last time I went ).
If you cross the border and stand around scratching your head looking unsure of which way to go, a tout will offer to be your guide. I had to pay 100 baht graft at the exit point to ' facilitate ' getting my exit stamp pronto. If you don't mind wandering around for a while you might be able to avoid this but I had the gf nervously waiting by the car on the Thai side so I coughed up the 100 baht which I put in my passport when I handed it over.

You might be able to Google Earth it before you go to get your bearings.

Easiest border crossing I've ever been to,,in..bosh..out..less than 5 minutes..

Went to Chong Chom 20-04-10 and had a easy in and out Immigration guys were very nice All done in less than 15 minutes,Gave tout 100 baht and he seemed happy with that,Thanks for all the advice posted Cheers....
