A DEVOUT Christian who romped with vice girls and turned to porn after a bonk on the head is suing his employers for £3.5million.
Stephen Tame, 29, says a work injury in 2002 sent his sex drive off the scale and ruined his marriage.
He went from being a “happily married man” to having a fling with a churchgoer, aged 57, and visiting a prostitute. His overactive libido even forced wife Sarah, 30, to sleep separately to “get some respite” from his demands — after case workers said her presence in their bed was “an encouragement” to his high sex drive.
Mr Tame, of East Bergholt, Suffolk, was diagnosed with “sexual disinhibition” after a fall in a cycle warehouse eight months into his marriage. He now requires home care.
He is suing Professional Cycling Marketing of Wickford, Essex, for lost earnings and £89,000 a year for the loss of his wife’s care.
The claim is based on experts’ view that his marriage will not survive a year because of the strain put on it by his sexually inappropriate behaviour.
Speaking in court, Sarah said her love for her husband was “slowly going”. She has moved out of their home.
A court ruled in September that his employers were liable and now Judge Michael Harris must decide how much compensation to award him.
Mr Tame’s barrister is arguing for £3.5million. The hearing at London’s High Court is set to last four days.
