Why do women put up with any humiliating and painful customs? Peer pressure and conformity to male standards. After all, women in the west wear the most atrociously uncomfortable shoes just to improve their appearance (to men).

My parents aren't religious, but I got the snip when I was 18 months old because of a non-retracting foreskin causing infection. My son had the same procedure at 7 for the same problem. It didn't traumatise him and it didn't traumatise me.

There most certainly are hygiene reasons for doing it.

What should be outlawed is doing it to stop people having fun.

Circumcised males also lower female risk of STDs and various cancers of the plumbing department.

Labia are not necessary for enjoyment of sex- a clit is and many of these mutilations are removing entire structure and thousands of girls are suffering this .

That is the key- and it is as prevalent in the west - do not allow women sexual freedom..

I was arguing this the other day and met up with the old- liner retort

" Women don't compete, that's just 'Ol Boy sexism saying that,"

but women DO compete and spend a lot of time and energy to see who can win Miss F*ckable and I think it is quite purposefully perpetuated, essentially keeps them from forming a voting bloc
Keep the women bared or covered, either way make them objects, not people .
