Teacher Accused Of Taping Students' Mouths Shut
BALTIMORE -- A teacher's aide at a Prince George's County elementary school was placed on leave after being accused of taping students' mouths shut.
The incident happened at Flintstone Elementary in Oxon Hill.
Authorities said the aide was upset at students who were talking during their lunch period.
One sixth-grader said she saw at least a half-dozen students with tape over their mouths lined up in a row.
Police have turned the case over to the state's attorney's office to see if charges will be filed against the aide.
