Do I smell that vile thing called "culture" at work here?
Do I smell that vile thing called "culture" at work here?
Ah yes ... Likely it's simply because mere westerners cannot fathom. It's beyond our intellectual capacity as to why an Asian culture might revert to a strictly Western (imported) script to describe such words as rape, garbage or filth -- in a western only script. I stand humbled in ignorance....
I was going to write a long reply to this story, but decided to keep it short after reading some of the replies... Before you put yourself in harms way, you should always ask the all important question. Why should I put myself at serious risk to become involved with someone who I don't know and has a weapon and is using it to cut another person's head off? Get real guys, most of you would not get involved unless there were other people (men) to help control that asshole.
You're European. ain'tcha?
She said .... blah blah blah harms way, ask the all important question, blah blah Who has a weapon and is using it to cut another person's head off? Blah blah blah offer him your lunch money. Or tell him OBAMA'S the frickin" PRESIDENT, Man!
Yeah, He's the PRESIDENT!
You never know how someone will react to a situation, if they are having a real bad day they may just decide to take it out on that guy, too much booze the night before and they may just want a quiet life, people react differently everytime.Originally Posted by Lynn

This whole story sounds a bit far fetched. Cutting off a persons head with so much as a steak knife, would be extremely hard work. Try doing this with a "bread & butter" knife!!! I feel that there is something missing here...like a machete or something. The story said that a "large kitchen knife" was found at the scene. Did the knife have a serated edge? If it didn't, this guy did some serious hacking.
And how would a kitchen knife suddenly appear at a cafe...unless it was brought in?
Oh for fucks sake! Get a life & stop trying to fuck mine up!
I had a Thai guy pull out a gun on me one time in his house, I had had a real bad week, I told him he was a piece of Thai shite and had no balls and then just kept moving onto him, that was anger that done that, nothing about being sensible.
You should challenge a gun and run from a knife, you can't out run a bullet.Originally Posted by dirtydog

The police found him with the head in his hand.
What were the other people in the restaurant doing?
Ooops, it was in a US restaurant, she's Chinese and her killer is Chinese, forget the previous question...

I am just guessing that a humans neck is similar to a game animal I have butchered up into pieces to carry out of the woods and never have tried that on another human.
Powder River Butcher Knives were a main trade item for fur trappers and traders and in use as combat and all round knives by Indians at the time of Custer's big fuck up, there has not always been the Rambo combat knife or Hunting knives as we see today, nor were they needed.
Might be. Reminds me of that recent case in Canada where some poor bastard got his head cut off on a bus. The assailant's name sounds somewhat Chinese.
Sonofabitch also started eating the dude's flesh after he had hacked his head off.
