    Just as I Suspected...

One in 30 Brits Now Identify as Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual

The proportion of British people identifying as gay, lesbian or bisexual has increased by more than 50% in the 5 years to 2022, according to new data from the Office for National Statistics.

The trend is particularly pronounced for the 16-24 demographic, where almost one in 10 identifies with one of these sexual orientations, the data show, which compares with one in thirty British people more broadly.

Young People Increasingly Likely to Identify as Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual

    *
This excludes people in the "other" category which could include other LGBTQ+ who do not identify as gay, lesbian and bisexual. Other could also include people who did not understand the terminology or who are against categorisation.

Almost 4% of people in managerial or professional positions identified as lesbian, gay or bisexual with the results of the ONS annual population survey reflecting how socio-economic factors impact the trend.

More Brits in Managerial Positions Are Identifying as Gay

This excludes people in the "other" category which could include other LGBTQ+ who do not identify as gay, lesbian and bisexual. Other could also include people who did not understand the terminology or who are against categorisation.

The data surrounding how the British population identifies was released the day after Home Secretary Suella Braverman said that fearing discrimination for being gay should not be enough to qualify for refugee protection at a speech in the US.

For his part, Rishi Sunak has taken a tougher stance on LGBTQ+ issues since becoming prime minister, announcing plans in April to bar trans women from some single-sex spaces.

Regionally, Londoners are more likely to identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual compared to other parts of the country.

London and Wales Are the Gayest Parts of the UK

    *
People are three times more likely to identify as gay, lesbian or bisexual in London compared to Northern Ireland
This excludes people in the "other" category which could include other LGBTQ+ who do not identify as gay, lesbian and bisexual. Other could also include people who did not understand the terminology or who are against categorisation.

The decrease in those identifying as heterosexual or straight might be because more people are exploring their sexual identity as societal attitudes change, the ONS report said. The data reflects those who ticked “lesbian, gay or bisexual” in the statistics authority’s annual population survey’s questionnaire around sexual orientation. Some people also checked the “other” category, which might reflect wider LGBTQ+ categories.

To be fair, the last time I was round that way was just after a wisdom tooth extraction and there was a tiny shard in my gum which it was rejecting. Kinda cool how the body works to expel foreign matter.

Anyway, a few days before heading back home to Thailand I rang a dentist to see if they could numb me gum and extract the shard with a long tweezers. Was told to come in and pay for the consultation fee of around 1.3 million euros before they would do any work on it.

I find that quite an unbelievable story.

They don't know what they fucking want?.it's the same in Oz. Maybe instead of leaving your tooth under the pillow and expecting $ maybe they will now get a grinder subscription . These counts should leave the tooth fairy the fuck alone I reckon, and sooty. What's next? Will bill and Ben the flowerpot men from magic round about be portrayed as a bit couple to satisfy the PC brigade. The soap dodgers have lost the plot

At less than 4% of the population it is still statistically insignificant and suggests this minority gets far more publicity than it deserves.

If only it was publicity. Unfortunately fukin trannies and their dogma have permeated policy cross govt, the education system and the NHS to the degree that the civil service idiots running the shop have allowed policy and departmental literature to erase genetic women and females backed as it has been for centuries by science and lets face it common sense in favour of gender neutral phraseology - its a fukin ridiculous situation bought into by the lib/lab idiots that are soon to run what's left of this country.
