One suspects that the Russians have every ameristani military base, in the world, marked on their maps. You are presuming that Russia will allow it's soldiers..... die in Syria and there will be no repercussions.

How would the unexceptional golden haired clown react if suddenly one of its military bases, full of ameristani or it's vassals soldiers was hit, possibly a small nondescript hellhole in Sudan or maybe a major base in ameristan ..........., a simple tweet. I suspect not. But as ameristan has started, or told a vassal to start, a war against a foreign country by deliberately targeting a legally occupied foreign or domestic military base full of it's soldiers, the foreign government has every right of self defense. Russia has the Justification, Motivation, Explanation

Do not expect Russia to play your game, slaughtering people around the world on a whim. If ameristan or it's vassals start a war against Russia the outcome is not as simple as postulated in the article you agree with. As alternate possibilities exist, as the author should have investigated and described the outcomes.

As you profess to be a gamer, try looking outside your small box described in the article. Rather than drinking some possible outcomes, which match your opinion, in one gulp.
Fook me dead OhOh. Can you just go to Russia, suck Vlads cock and get it out of your system? Either that or you are Jewish and believe the Messiah has finally come in the form of a short balding megalomaniacal Russian.

Good argument and support for another ("well justified") war (how many we had seen before?) aiming to relieve the suffering of people...

I'm sure that great humanitarian Assad is so concerned about the suffering of his people. Try reading this although I'm sure it must be fake news because it didn't come from R.T.

‘We didn't see any patients with symptoms of chemical attack’ – hospital staff in Russian MoD video

Witnesses of the aftermath of the alleged chemical attack in the Syrian city of Douma say - in video released by Russia's Defence Ministry - that those brought to hospital were not showing symptoms consistent with exposure to a chemical agent.

OCPW Conclusions Could Have Nullified US Intentions and Actions - Lawmaker

If OCPW specialists reached Douma and confirmed information by Russian specialists that no chemical weapons attack has happened in Syria, this would have nullified all US actions and intentions, says Russia's State Duma Foreign relations committee Alexei Chepa.
He added that Trump's decision to conduct strike in Syria is deeply mistaken and can lead to very heavy consequences.

Putin Urges Netanyahu to Avoid Actions That Destabilize Syria's Sovereignty

Russian President Vladimir Putin called for refraining from actions destabilizing the situation in Syria during his phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Kremlin press-service reported.

"Upon an initiative of the Israeli side, a telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Syrian issue was discussed, including the recent missile strikes on the T-4 airfield in Homs by the Israeli Air Force. Vladimir Putin stressed the fundamental importance of respecting the sovereignty of Syria and called for refraining from any actions that might further destabilize the situation in the country and pose a threat to its security," the report said.

The day before, Israel's envoy to Russia Gary Koren met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov to discuss the attack on the Tiyas air base, located outside of Palmyra in central Syria, attributed to Tel-Aviv.

The conversations took place after, on April 9, two F-15 Air Force warplanes carried out a missile strike on the T-4 airbase in Syria from Lebanese airspace. As the Russian Defense Ministry later specified, Syrian air defense units had managed to destroy five out of eight missiles fired by the Israeli fighter jets. Three missiles reached the western part of the airfield, resulting in the death of 14 people, including 7 Iranian soldiers.

Responding to the attack, the Iranian Foreign Ministry called it an "aggression and violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, which contradicts all international laws and norms."

the White House and No 10 are not interested in evidence of any kind, they are the evidence, all they have to do is say it loud a couples of times to make it real

and see how fearful little ordinary characters like Harry falls for it immediately, and swallow it all verbatim, simply because an "authority" figure said it, it must be true, no matter the real evidence, which are irrelevant at this stage

Unlikely that things will return to normal anytime soon.
Ditto, Bolton has a greater understanding than Trump of how things work out there, and got it spot on. Nothing wrong with a strong man, and Assad is way less of an issue than the Islamic State and a pugnacious Tehran, both of which will be around long after he and Trump are forgotten.

As you say it's unlikely things will return to 'normal' soon or anytime, though I never suggested otherwise beyond being business as usual (ie slaughter) in a couple of weeks after Trump swings his few missiles as a victory and the media find something else to pimp.

Too late, Assad did it as proven by the fact that he was convicted by the US and an equally feckless Europe. All they need to do now is fake the evidence, and voila!

well, now that a few bombs were launched at syria (punishment for alleged gassing), it's time for the cia (obama sent in) to get out of syria and for trump to do what he talked about earlier this month and pull all u.s. personnel out of syria.

some good advice for trump from jefferey sachs (follow the link to a 5 minute video):

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi...gh_damage.html

Columbia University professor Jeffrey D. Sachs, a writer of foreign policy textbooks and special adviser to the United Nations, issued a special plea to President Trump to stop the war in Syria now by ending the CIA's covert arming and funding of rebel forces.

Sachs explained: "This [Syrian civil war] happened because of [the United States]. These 600,000 [dead] are not just incidental. [The United States] started a war to overthrow a regime.

It was covert. It was Operation: Timber Sycamore, people can look it up, the CIA operation. Together with Saudi Arabia, still shrouded in secrecy... A major war effort shrouded in secrecy, never debated by Congress, never explained to the American people. Signed by President Obama. Never explained."
