Not a 'real' Muslim then out raping kids and beating his wife Just surprised the jihadi family has not been called a lone wolf family yet, or that the poor little kid was bullied at School and a victim of Islamaphobia. Looks like a real Muslim does he not, inbred, brainwashed and full of resentment.

A lot of hot air, but can someone actually give a solution to the problem.
1)The obvious solution is to continue rounding up jihadists as they're identified, jail them then deport them, if possible.
2)Cut immigration from Muslim countries to a minimum, vet all immigrants for extreme views.
3)Close all mosques that terrorists habitually attended.
4)Monitor all other mosques and their leaders.
5)Close all Muslim schools that don't conform to OFSTED guidelines.
    6)Ban polygamy in UK.
7)Bar all child brides entry into UK.
8)Instigate a total crackdown on FGM
9)Re-erect all security cameras removed from Muslim districts.
10)Put more resources into the Prevent programme.
11)Get used to armed police and soldiers on the streets.
12)Vet all voters' IDs at elections, ban all multiple delivered postal votes, all to be posted individually.
13)Continue pressuring all gangs, black, white, pink, purple or khaki.
    14) Decriminalize all drugs, put addicts on doctors' scripts, so cutting funds to jihadists and other criminals. The money saved in policing and jailing druggies will more than pay for the program.

    Just a few ideas.

Oh, the really obvious one, check all declared or undeclared interests held by every elected government or council member.
    1,2,3,4,5 yes.
6 is already in place I would expect.
    7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14 yes.
    Hows that? we agree.
    But you forgot the all important 15 (which should be number 1);
15 Stop meddling and murdering in the Middle East.

^^Number one should be stop dealing with Saudi Arabia. They are the main enablers of violent extremist ideology.

The problem of Islamic extremists in the U.K. is obviously very real but instead of meeting it head on the current government has stripped resources from the police in England and Wales with the exception of London. Sticking a few armed troops at railway stations is meant to alarm and is really just an election gimmick.

increase income tax on the highest earners. Give the money to the police in places like Manchester to beef up anti terrorist investigation and the specialist police required.

Theresa May will confront Donald Trump over the stream of leaks of crucial intelligence about the Manchester bomb attack when she meets the US president at a Nato summit in Brussels on Thursday.

British officials were infuriated on Wednesday when the New York Times published forensic photographs of sophisticated bomb parts that UK authorities fear could complicate the expanding investigation into the lethal blast in which six further arrests have been made in the UK and two more in Libya.

It was the latest of a series of leaks to US journalists that appeared to come from inside the US intelligence community, passing on data that had been shared between the two countries as part of a long-standing security cooperation.

They are in no doubt about our huge strength of feeling on this issue. It is unacceptable
A senior Whitehall source said: “These images from inside the American system are clearly distressing to victims, their families and other members of the public. Protests have been lodged at every relevant level between the British authorities and our US counterparts. They are in no doubt about our huge strength of feeling on this issue. It is unacceptable.”

Police chiefs also criticised the leaking of information from the investigation. A National Counter Terrorism Policing spokesperson said: “We greatly value the important relationships we have with our trusted intelligence, law enforcement and security partners around the world.

“When that trust is breached it undermines these relationships, and undermines our investigations and the confidence of victims, witnesses and their families. This damage is even greater when it involves unauthorised disclosure of potential evidence in the middle of a major counter-terrorism investigation.”

Agreed. There's an obstacle to that, the UK royal family.

There have been times in my life when armed police or soldiers have materialized "out of the blue", a very welcome presence, and I'm fully supportive of their efforts to scare off/alarm no-good-boyos looking for bother. They are our friends, not our enemies. It's their masters that you have to be careful of at times.

Agreed. Increased taxes on high earnings and obscene wealth, increased taxes on banks and businesses, again, the wealthier and more profitable businesses paying a higher percentage than lower income earners.
That would be a powerful move

A woman was arrested in Manchester following an armed raid on a block of flats late on Wednesday evening in connection with Monday's suicide attack.

Several other arrests were made including a suspect in late night raid in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, as detectives probe a "network" linked to the Manchester suicide bomber.

One suspect, believed to be carrying a package, was also arrested in Wigan earlier today. Seven people have now been arrested in total.

Meanwhile, the terrorist's father and brother were detained in Libya.

Abedi's father, Ramadan Abedi, was allegedly a member of the al-Qaeda-backed Libyan Islamic Fighting group in the 1990s, according to a former Libyan security official, Abdel-Basit Haroun. The elder Abedi denied that he was part of the militant group and told The Associated Press that his son was not involved in the concert bombing and had no connection to militants.

"We don't believe in killing innocents. This is not us," the 51-year-old Abedi said in a telephone interview from Tripoli.

He said he spoke to his son five days ago and that he was getting ready for a religious pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. He said his son visited Libya a month and a half ago and was planning to return to Libya to spend the holy month of Ramadan with the family. He also denied his son had spent time in Syria or fought with the Islamic State group, which claimed responsibility for the concert bombing.

"Last time I spoke to him, he sounded normal. There was nothing worrying at all until ... I heard the news that they are suspecting he was the bomber," the elder Abedi said.

He confirmed that another son, Ismail, 23, was arrested on Tuesday in Manchester. A third son, 18-year-old Hashim, was arrested in Tripoli late last night, according to a Libyan government spokesman, Ahmed bin Salem. The elder Abedi was arrested shortly after speaking to the AP, Salem said.

The anti-terror force that took Hashim Abedi into custody said the teenager had confessed that both he and his brother were members of the Islamic State group and that he "knew all the details" of the Manchester attack plot.

A spokesman for the Libyan authorities told BBC2's Newsnight: "His brother felt there was something going on there in Manchester and he thought his brother would do something like bombing or attack."

The spokesman added that Libyan authorities were aware of Abedi going to the capital of Tripoli on April 18 and believed he stayed for two or three weeks.

He revealed that Abedi's younger brother Hashim had been investigated for about a month and a half over suspicions that he was linked to IS.

"We were not quite sure about this, but when we arrested and we asked him, he told us, 'I have ideology with my brother'. Hashim told us, 'I know everything about my brother, what he was doing there in Manchester'."

Ramadan Abedi fled Tripoli in 1993 after Muammar Gaddafii's security authorities issued an arrest warrant. He spent 25 years in Britain before returning to Libya in 2011 after Gaddafi was ousted and killed in the country's civil war. He is now a manager of the Central Security force in Tripoli.

    Father of Salman Abedi, Ramadan

British police said on Wednesday they had not yet found the bomb maker in the Manchester Arena attack, indicating Salman Abedi was part of a larger cell.

"It's very clear this is a network we are investigating," Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said.

British authorities were also exploring whether the bomber, who grew up in Manchester, had links with other cells across Europe and North Africa, according to two officials familiar with the case.

They said one thread of the investigation involves pursuing whether Abedi could have been part of a larger terror cell that included Mohamed Abrini, otherwise known as "the man in the hat," with connections to the Brussels and Paris attacks. Abrini visited Manchester in 2015.

Investigators were also looking into possible links between Abedi and Abdalraouf Abdallah, a Libyan refugee from Manchester who was shot in Libya and later jailed in the UK for terror offences, including helping Stephen Gray, a British Iraqi war veteran and Muslim covert, to join fighters in Syria.

Other Manchester connections under investigation, the officials said, include a 50-year-old former Guantanamo Bay detainee, Ronald Fiddler, also known as Jamal al-Harith. The Briton blew himself up at a military base in Iraq in February. He was one of 16 men awarded a total of £10 million in compensation in 2010, when the British government settled a lawsuit alleging its intelligence agencies were complicit in the torture of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.

Another possible link under investigation is whether Abedi had ties to Raphael Hostey, a jihadist recruiter who was killed in Syria, the officials said.

The sweeping investigation has caused friction between US and British security and intelligence officials.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd, who said Abedi had been known to British security officials, complained on Wednesday about US officials leaking sensitive information about Abedi to the media, saying that could hinder Britain's security services and police.

    Unbelievable!
Since you want to move out of the present context of things and start going back in history, you can put the blame for all of today's Islamic jihadist murders firmly on the head of Mohammed, when he started ordering the killings of those who criticized him, which grew in number,(around 42 individual incidents) until he started slaughtering large numbers of opponents, escalating then into his 10 year campaign of wars culminating after his death in the Islamic wars of conquest across N Africa and then through Spain into Europe.

There's been nothing but intimidation, skullduggery, murder and war coming from those hypocritical, inbred, Arab dominated Muslims ever since.
And you say,"so yeah, it's all the West's fault."

Police investigating the Manchester Arena bomb attack have stopped sharing information with the US after leaks to the media, the BBC understands.

UK officials were outraged when photos appearing to show debris from the attack appeared in the New York Times.
It came after the name of bomber Salman Abedi was leaked to US media just hours after the attack, which killed 22 - including children - and injured 64.

Theresa May is to raise concerns with Donald Trump at a Nato meeting later.
Greater Manchester Police hopes to resume normal intelligence relationships - a two-way flow of information - soon but is currently "furious", the BBC understands.

The force - which is leading the investigation on the ground - gives its information to National Counter-Terrorism, which then shares it across government and - because of the Five Eyes intelligence sharing agreement - with the US, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

In total eight men are now in custody following the attack, carried out by Manchester-born Abedi, a 22-year-old from a family of Libyan origin.
It has also emerged two people who had known Abedi at college made separate calls to a hotline to warn the police about his extremist views.

An account dedicated to the pop superstar claims that the devastated singer has pledged to help the families of the 22 people who lost their lives in the bombing of Manchester Arena following her concert.
The site, called Ariana Updates!, shared a post saying: 'News on Ariana: Ariana has reached out to the families who's loves ones died last night....she is gonna pay for the funerals!'

A rep for the star has not confirmed the claims, but tells MailOnline: 'Due to the tragic events in Manchester the Dangerous Woman tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost.
'We ask at this time that we all continue to support the city of Manchester and all those families affected by this cowardice and senseless act of violence. Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together.'

She has since suspended her Dangerous Woman tour and jetted home to the US.
The claims come after nine of the victims were named, including eight-year-old Saffie Roussos and 18-year-old Georgina Callander.
Ariana had previously met Georgina at a fan meet-and-greet, posing for a picture with the beaming teen.

As the chaos following the attack unfurled on Monday night, it has been claimed that the singer's mother Joan immediately escorted terrified fans to safety backstage after the explosion was first heard.
The site reports that Joan had still been sitting in her seat on the front row when the bomb detonated in the venue's lobby after the show - and was quick to come to the aid of surrounding fans.
Fellow concert-goers reveal Joan had called as many as 10 children to follow her backstage, leading them to safety seconds after the attack that has killed 22 and left 119 injured.
The site reports that Joan had been preparing to visit her daughter backstage and congratulate her on another tour performance, when the suicide bomber targeted the sell-out concert.
Eye-witnesses state Joan, flanked by Ariana's security team, had then escorted a large group of fans sat close the stage out of the concert hall and into to the dressing rooms.
The singer's mother reportedly comforted the panicked youngsters there until they were safely evacuated by police, who arrived on the scene soon after.

Helping hand: The star's mother Joan reportedly escorted fans to safety backstage after the explosion was heard at her daughter's concert in the Manchester Arena on Monday.

WTF are you babbling on about man?

Syria had a quite peaceful relationship with Israel. The uprising in Syria had fuck all to do with Israel and everything to do with Assad violently quelling dissent even in the form of teenagers graffiti.

PM May...it happened on your watch so time to show your leadership.
Thankfully, it is May 'on watch' at this time. Her prior role as the UK's longest serving Home Secretary in 60 years gives her a unique insight and knowledge of policing and counter terrorism operations and requirements. As the current Home Secretary, Amber Rudd will welcome I'm sure May's oversight in the days and months ahead.

Is that the same Theresa May who cut 22'000 police jobs while she was the home secretary resulting in situation now where the cops are so short of manpower and funding that we have got the Army on the streets

I would imagine most armed policemen in the UK are ex military, so the training would be the same. If anything, the police have received anti-terrorism training far beyond the military. Both should be formidable against armed terrorists, but not against a bomb.
