    Astasinims trip up Blencathra

Some of you may recall me moaning about the wifes objections to me going on a lads trip to the Lake district walking. Well anyway ive been, even if what was only for the day as opposed to the night stop over.

Blencathra is located in the Lake district, in North West England. A very beautiful part of the country if your into outdoor pursuits.

It was a very cold but sunny day when we set off, but that was soon to change.

It didnt take long for us to reach the clouds.

Anyway we plodded on for a while

We stopped for a break half way up, as some of us were knackered (namely me)

The dogs started to get board so we pressed on

    Almost at the top

We made it, but couldnt see a bloody thing

After a short break we made our way down.

Always got to finish the day off with a few cold ones.

    Even the dogs were knackered

Well thats it. Hope you enjoyed it.
I aint superstitious, but I know when somethings wrong
I`ve been dragging my heels with a bitch called hope
Let the undercurrent drag me along.

My parents still have a house in Kendal which frequent when I'm back, In my opinion the only region of the country that I could consider ever returning to. Where in Yorkshire do you live astasinim?

Not wanting to put TD members off their dinner, i decided to make them put those fetching white masks on.

No, there's an actual Compo's Cafe, not the one from TV. It's on the road to Holmfirth rather than in it.
