That last pic brings back some memories.

When I was a kid a few of us used to get the bus into Weston-Super-Mare and walk out under the Grand Pier at low tide. You could make up to 30p in an afternoon by sifting through the mud for the loose change that had fallen through the gaps in the pier decking.

I grew up in GT. Yarmouth which looks very much like this! Meet at Matalan then walk down to the seafront to play the 2p arcades at the weekend. Game of Daytona and some shit mini bowling game followed by some £1 donuts.

As we got older we just went to spoons until we were drunk enough to do karaoke on the pier, afterwards we'd jump off into the sand
