Best tyres I've ever had.
Pure quality and near enough puncture proof.
Cot them imported from Germany during lockdown when the UK had sold out of everything cycling related.

Amazing anyone uses caliper or cantilever brakes on bikes anymore unless they are super cheap bikes. That's like drum brakes on cars. The weight delta between disc and caliper is noise but the performance advantage with discs is far better..
What a piss about trying to get the pads to unstick. 2 hours it took me to see that a cable wasn't sitting in its holder properly. I'd put the front forks on the wrong way too.
Oh well, school run in a bit, then off to a nice little country pub with beer garden
Disc brakes are well and good till they go wrong, personally I prefer the caliper breaks for road biking and disc brakes for mountain biking.
It's a learning curve, you'll get quicker with more practice.
Ride to the country pub fvck that driving shite off.
Can have a few more pints as well with no fear of getting nicked for drunk driving.
I suspect it may have been a self assembly purchase.
The girls were too knackered to cycle to the pub. So they said
We cycled for about 6 milesA third lovely day on the bounce. Those April showers are gonna come with a vengeance I reckon
Imgur's playing up, I was gonna show you the growth in my beautiful little daughter on a bike nearly as big as mine by the canal. The way she has grown mentally is even bigger now out of those International schools that dripped her a year back. She's caught that year back up. Amazing little girl
Good on her and you for getting them out at the right time.
A year or two in primary school then they're at the same level as the other students when they start high school.
Bloke I know brought his son back from Thailand at age 12 and he really struggled after being put in all the lowest sets.
He went to an expensive international school as well.
6 miles is a decent start, enjoy it while it lasts.
It's all gonna go Pete Tong next week, Summer will be over.
45 minute sprint in the saddle today.
That's a bonza final pic, mate - lovely bit of lighting for the old B'Twin. How many miles on the clock today?
I had a technical halfway through a ride this morning forcing me to release a sustained volley of 'kunts' - which unfortunately didn't solve the issue.
It just keeps going with minimal maintenance mate.
Had it 6 years now and only ever had to change the tyres, tubes and brake pads. Recently adjusted the gear cables and the occasional lubrication on the chain.
Must have done 10,000 miles on it since new.
30 today, feeling a bit knackered now.
I find any ride over two hours in the hills is killing my knees and hamstrings, although a one hour ride is fine.
What technical issues did you have.?
My biggest issue today was turtling for the last 30 minutes till I got home, the consequences of downing a pint of protein shake and a monster mango energy drink.
It was brutal!
^
Good shot. These two years of Covid have screwed up my regular cycling routine. However, the lessening of restrictions (and hopefully attitudes of locals) hopefully will mean I can get on the road again soon. Time to get a bit of maintenance and prep done in a corner of my garage.
Nice Trek PAG!
Yesterday it was snow and sleet, today it was back out there...
Cobblers to cobbles..
They look good in a photo, but are a pain in the arse to ride over
^^
Actually two Trek's, an Emonda SL and a Domane 6.9 Disc. Wife's Tokyo bike is the other. Those cobbles looks like you're training for the Paris -Roubaix, which incidentally is in two weeks time (17th April).
