Excellent a part of Wales i have yet to visit. Spent about 4-5 months down south, construction. I thought the photo of the raptor was a "sparrowhawk" but on closer inspection and going by the plumage i would say that was a "Kestrel".

Yeah mate, it's a really stunning part of the world. And thanks for your help in I.Ding the bird, beautiful creature and it was really nice to see one from so close up.

Well done mate on those pics , Ive nicked a few to have a go at in me art thread ,, allthough they wont look like your photo,s as I will have to add " artistic licence " to them to make them look more like paintings
