    well, im getting

    1,900 22,200
    and
    2,400 22,200

    as in the screen shot.

plus the advertiser competition ranking is different, all of this indicates that google considers the terms are unique. (as they should be)

interestingly, "Thailand Expat Forum" keywords gets a very low 170 global search volume.

Your not in Thailand, anyway regardless it is a very low monthly search term that we wouldn't bother with if this was not actually a forum.

yes, i do think its strange that the numbers are basically a dead match. not sure why its like this. maybe they round numbers and it's a coincidence.

Thats true, but a Thailand Expat can contribute a lot more to this forum than say someone who comes to thailand for 3 weeks per year, so value wise for threads etc an expat member can contribute a hell of a lot more to a forum.

forget about thai keyboards. that's got nothing to do with this forum.

why don't you have your keywords set at "Thai Forum" instead of "Thailand Forum" ? same global search numbers and less competition ... = better ranking.

I think you can get a top 4 result ranking with this.

anyway good luck with the forum DD, i gather you are the boss around here.
i think you've done a good job, just a few niggling things regarding the format but at the end of the day could boild down to personal preference.

Its too low a search term to worry about, also I think you will find for that term google is considering thai and thailand as the same thing, there used to be quite a difference between the figures.

More than twice as many people searching for thai keyboard than thai thailand forum, and less than 10 percent of the competition, know which one I would work on being a lazy git

I found the forum/thread layout confusing when I first joined.

Quickly grew used to it though, wouldn't change much of anything now if it were up to me.
