Yes, TD has been terrible recently. So have other sites, but TD has been the worst.
    It's OK today though.

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling Adobe Reader. Apparently it can cause problems if it is partially corrupted.

I have been using Chrome lately, by the way, with no problems. I like the Firefox add-ons, but Chrome seems faster and more intuitive.

Well, yes, I can too, that's why I switched to Chrome. I just felt compelled to say something nice about Firefox- kind of like a girl you dumped but still a feel a bit of affection for, I guess.

Since Adobe got mentioned above, as one who needs to read a lot of PDFs I have come to prefer Foxit over Acrobat, which seems to have a fiendish desire to take over my machine every time I run it.

No problems for me. Assume you still have MS Explorer so try it. IF MS OK you may have a FF problem specific to TD. Cookies or something like that. You could go and try to fix the problem but probably quicker just to reinstall FF.

Correct, that's why i think it is a TD (Vbulletin) problem vs FF

I have the same problems on a regular basis with FF. Most of the time I can't enter text in the box when replying to a message.

I have no problems with Operah

The last 2 versions of firefox seem to have been a bit buggy with vbulletin, need to let the page fully load before doing anything, not sure about the latest version as I haven't rebooted since I installed it.

My firefox was sluggish with TD a few days ago.
    Fine now.
TD is usually one of the fastest sites I frequent.

I have no problems, also use FF and visit a few vBull sites.

Try disabling all the add-ons, restarting firefox and re-enabling the add-ons one by one until things go wrong again.

yeah, i actaully unistalled and reinstalled FF, but it also reinstalled all the old addons,

I last added adblock or falshban, might be one of them.
