Thread: Help!!

Are there any TD members in Phuket who ( for a six pack of whatever) can spare an hour or so to talk me through the process of posting pics on the forum ??

Happyman, everyone keeps trying to get people to upload to the Teak door gallery first which can be a teeny bit complicated. Is that what you have been trying to do?

It is far easier to open a free online pic hosting account with photobucket, castlepix or Imageshack if you are unsure.

Upload the pics to there and they will then give you a url code which can be pasted into the threads here.

I find the TD gallery easier. Seriously. If you're ever up in HH, pm me Happyman & I'll show you. You have looked at KM's thread in Newbies, haven't you?

Step by step in images for you:

1. Open the gallery section of the forum in a new tab, on the left of the page clic on "upload image".



2. Clic on the browse button of the web page will open your filebrowser where you can choose an image to upload. It will then appear in the small window near the "browse" button. Clic on the "continue"button on the bottom.





The next page will tell you that your upload was successfull, clic again on the "Continue" button.



3. This page will ask you to choose an album to store the picture(s). I've simply chosen "New album". At the same time your pic appears on the top left corner of the page. Continue with one clic on the button in the bottom.





4. The next window will tell you that all uoloads and the last one were successfuly uploaded, clicl Continue.




5. You are now on the thumbnail page of the gallery, where your image appears. Clic on the thumbnail and the image will be displayed in a bigger image.





The last step is clicking on this image to show the original image you have uploaded, then click "Copy image adress" of this pic.



To finish paste the image adress in the dialog box "insert image" of the reply utility.

And you get this:

The French instructions are a bit confusing but as I failed my "o" level in a spectacular fashion - I can work it out

Cant be as bad as me as my papers were not marked - I spelt French wrong.

When you open the gallery to the far left of the of the top line you will see a little house, point to it, and the options to click on will appear.

Thats the bit that got me boxed Prop, couldn't see where to upload them until I accidently ran my mouse over thr little house, once i found that it was all clear, BTW your plants are growing superbly well.
