    ^555. Chilling!

Well, after a hard day of doing the above (with plenty of clothes, I might add), I came inside to sit down in front of this:

    Eat a bowl of this:

And drink a few bottles of this (http://www.anchorbrewing.com/beers/christmasale.htm):

^This stuff is really, really thirst-quenching. And shoveling snow is thirsty work. It's a good thing I stocked up on that and some Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome Ale.

At about nine last night, the snow was just starting to taper off.

Clearing a path through this arbor and out the driveway was a tough but invigorating. Just for the hell of it, I wore a heart monitor. After an hour of shoveling, my average heart rate was 147. My high was 173. Around 150 or so is what I usually shoot for at the gym, though I'm usually up near 160. I figured this was pretty solid exercise for one day and decided to hell with the gym today.

Last but not least, have a nice holiday, wherever you are. Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the Christmas tree, can I borrow that? Does anyone here know where I can get some genuine Essan food in NOVA besides Num Tauk? Also where do the Thai girls hang out around here? I actually have a list of a few places but I haven't checked them out yet.

Snow is cute and quaint - for a day.

and Killerbees, I moved from DC in October of 1998. Man....11 years ago.....

So, obviously, Bugsy's is still open.

    Bringin' back the memories.....

No problemo. Too bad tomorrow (Christmas) it's supposed to dump rain! 555 Fun while it lasted. Actually, it won't be too bad because some of the roads around here haven't been plowed for shit. That coupled with the natives who don't know how to drive in snow (and some of the recent immigrants from warmer climes who really don't know how to drive in snow) makes for a crazy time on the roads.
