    Exactly mate.

In fact a lot of these high profile sportsman these days (2010 youngsters and as Ray Carey has pigeon~holed them) don't take any responsibility especially as they know millions of kids are watching them.

I have been disgusted by the actions of some so-called sports idols sending the wrong message out to their young fans.

Alot of Aussies are Chinese, Vietnamese,English,Indians etc etc and do not give a flying farke.

Why change the flag with all that free money from The Queen of England every year ?

Australia may as well be part of the Channel Islands.

    Doesn't change anything..

In almost every list Pride (Latin, superbia), or hubris, is considered the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins, and indeed the ultimate source from which the others arise. It is identified as a desire to be more important or attractive than others, failing to acknowledge the good work of others, and excessive love of self (especially holding self out of proper position toward God). Dante's definition was "love of self perverted to hatred and contempt for one's neighbour."

I'm not proud of my home country, not ashamed either.
I am thankful for all what it has given me but pride is not a dish on my menu.

Over 600,000 plus Brits visit Aussie every year and spend money under the passports issued by the Queen of England (that must be a fair amount spent when one knows Aussies are tight as farkek !)

So back to the Indian flag on your Aussie flag ?

It may stop you guys burning them alive on the streets of Australia.

Interesting comment LOM, you seem to be saying that you are not proud of your country but I would have thought you would be/been proud of your parents that gave you that opportunity within that country.

I rather think Australia, as far as experiments go, has been quite successful but in musical terms and taking into account nationalistic hubris it is really a bit dismal. I think they should stick with the " Star Spangled Banner " as an anthem not least because they are chiefly at heart ersatz Americans albeit without the chutzpah.

Probabaly the most correct post on this thread.

The past Aussie Governments have sold out to the Yanks big time, along with the Poms whose empirehas crashed into oblivion over the last 100 years.

There may be still hope for us though Gent as we are still trying to find our own identity and with a bit of group hugging.

I only work on what is written on bank notes LT and the countries that accept that currency issued by the Bank of England.

So any day now the Indian flag will be part of the British/Aussie effort of a piece of nylon.

    Bars ? Stools ?
