    Aussies..... read and weep

In Scruffy Murphys.. Bangla Rd this morning at about 11.30.... going in for a big glass of Heineken for 100 bht and to see if their wifi was working again ( it wasn't... that's 3 weeks now!!)

In come 3 Antipodeans.. 2 blokes and a girl... ask for the menu and drinks list....

and their choice..... 2 bottles of water and a coke.... OK... no probs with that...then the questions start.. is the ice made with filtered water.. Huh?... maybe no....OK no ice.

Then 2 of them turn out to be veggies..... and additional questions start... how do I know it is really vegetarian, can I see in the kitchen...

Are these really the descendants of people who fought the bush, the climate, the diseases and the hardships and went on to form the current nation of Australia?

Maybe they were just Kiwis or Tasmanians.....

Ya get all kinds in those sort of places. From your loudmouth beer swilling whore-mongers to your non-drinking vegetarians. Australia has their spread of types too, strange as it may seem to some.

Perhaps it might be more enjoyable just to take in the people watching rather than to try and ponder their ancestors strengths and failings or to try and wind up the Aussies?

I saw 2 old lady farangs in Phuket consume most of the Sunday roast they ordered before complaining the meat was too tough to eat. The farang manager waived their bill, to my disgust. I'd have told them to feck orf.

Recently stood behind a vegetarian in a fast food restaurant queue in the UK, took her 7 minutes to sort out a meal with the staff (not that i was counting mind you!)

They're everywhere mate, and i have to add that they never seem to look particularly healthy.

My favourite kitchen is just opposite the Grand Palace; they have a shower curtain about half a foot from the food preparation tables, that once pulled let's you into the urinal which is very close to the shower curtain - after a few beers, it's plenty enjoyable to rub shoulders with the cooks whilst you're having a slash.

The bad news is, the whole parade are being renovated at the mo, so if you've never been then maybe the opportunity has passed you by.

Vegie Aussies, who would have believed it...

Yes, we got one at work, a little skinny lily white skinned throttler scared of the sun and his own shadow. Anemic, sick all the time, eats fok all, rides a girls bike and recycles his dental floss to use again.

Still got the first dollar he ever earned and don't drink, smoke or bang one home in a lovely trollup.

Foking pathetic specimen and makes me spew every time I look at him.

Foked if I know how he ever got in the job, payed some bastard off I recon.

Actually I'm sure he told me he was born in Pommy land so that explained everything .
