Romances still alive after 13 years.

Me and the missus have been together for 13 years.....unlucky for some.

Still, it is sweet that after so long, the special little romantic moments can still pop up out of the blue....its what makes being together for so long, so nice.

Just not 15 minutes ago, she was out washing the car and it started to rain and she asked me to drive it inside so she could dry it properly.

Now, my missus cannot drive for shit, so i said...you do it....she has had a couple of lessons and i took her driving around a carpark the other week.

She laughed that rather sweet laugh she has and said are you sure...i said try it.

She ran off all happy and full of excitement, first time ever in the car alone, to get the keys.

She jumped in, I walked off as I did not wish to be around.

She wound the window down and yelled "which one is the brake, left or right"

I fell over laughing and she wound the window up and granny hopped...past granny....into the carport.....I only just got up off the floor now.

    Romance....not dead in this house.
I like poisoning my neighbours dogs till they die cos I'm a cnut

    Sweet.

I wonder how the post would have gone if she'd trashed the car and killed the Granny?

You can tell the romance is still there when you still let her wash your car. Happy 13th. My 20th coming up in a month or two - but she doesn't wash the car any more.

Surely the big day was with all the monks a few weeks back, the ceromony in the government office is just to keep it legal and for the purpose of getting her a visa.
    A meer formality

Dunno how Noods & Mrs Noods feel about that. Mayhap they believe both their days are special...

Have you ever been to a legal "ceremony" in Bangkok?

It's about as romantic and interesting as filling in your tax returns.

And? Because of that it can't be special? There's nothing else they can do the whole day to make it special & memorable? Hell, I don't know. Maybe they'll both go back to work after. Or maybe a champagne brunch in the honeymoon suite of a 5 star hotel, before making full use of the room? Who knows? Not me & not you, either, I imagine.

I think EN has already established that he'll arrange his little ceremony around "happy hour" in the local hostelries.

    Which is nice.
