Plenty of room for your baguettes in the back, Chas, and just enough power in its engine to get you home by nightfall - if you left town early enough in the morning.

A good choice for quiet living. And I like the colour.

But I think I'd choose something else for me. Dunno what yet.

    Nev, this would suit you.

    ---

Actually, I hired one in London back in the late eighties.

Almost got her to 70 miles an hour (downhill, with a tail wind)

    ---

Since we are Classic Cars, if in France ... an older DS for me (just not black)

Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago ...

CCC ... you did, in part ... didn't you?

The Normans that invaded England in 1066 came from Normandy in Northern France.
However, they were originally Vikings from Scandinavia.
From the eighth century Vikings terrorized continental European coastlines with raids and plundering.
The proto-Normans instead settled their conquests and cultivated land.
Over time they assimilated into medieval European society, abandoned paganism, and upheld conventional Christian norms.

Those Norman wankers didn't get that far north!
The Anglo Saxon/celts/Viking/Haggis and sheep shaggers put the fear of King Druid into them
Besides they couldn't find a Pakistani corner shop to buy croissants on our Roman roads.

As an aside, my Great Grandfather heralded from just north of the border in Scotland, and have a Family

The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition was, in 2010, the fastest production street legal car to reach 60 mph from a stop, taking about 2.46 seconds. The fastest automobile in 2015 was the Porsche 918 Spyder, which is a hybrid vehicle taking 2.2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph
