The easiest way to give up smokes for ever.

I've been down with Bronchitis or something and went to the doc with a raging cough on Friday. I'd just given up 3 weeks ago (probably why I had bronchtis)

Here is Bungs fool proof way to ditch the smokes forever!

Get a chest x ray and have the doc find a spot on your lung.

Have the Doc say "come back on Monday and see what the other (better) doc reckons". "You may need to get a cat scan".

Crap yourself all weekend googling "spot on lung" and find a million lung cancer web sites.

Go to better doc on monday only to find out that the other doc was hopeless and the spot wasn't really a spot at all. Nothing to worry about.

    My little warning....I'm done.

    Good luck to you,
I smoke a serious amount of cigarettes and am not proud of it.

My hat goes off to anyone that manages to kick it.

    It was quitting drinking Icey.
It went well for a while then I stopped caring.
My next quit date is October the 1st.

The fukking Mrs Q has managed to quit both smoking and drinking.

How much do you smoke ? I'm at about a pack per day ... and that's because I usually burn two each time I light up.

I like to have a cigarette now and then. Sometimes I actually buy a pack, but it takes a month or so to get through it. But, if I'm drinking all night I might smoke five or six cigarettes in one sitting.

I'll probably buy some for the Old Dutch (?) gathering. Did we ever figure out if smoking is allowed there?

Did you used to be a heavy smoker? If so, I think it is very unusual to be able to cut way down but not quit.

Why don't you all smokers join us Muzzies in this holy month of Ramadan. That way you all can quit.

    Anyone?
