I'm sure I'm not the onlyone who'll be banging on the bank's door ready to send hard currency to Thailand as soon as the Thai banks open.

the Baht is down 1% on Bloomberg today
damn i destroyed my western union card already
I should add that 1% may not sound much but it is the biggest one day fall in 4 years
yes, 1% does not sound much
that would be less than 1baht/pound extra
the amount of the fall would be more significant if it continued at that rate, but I dont suppose it will
I was going to buy some baht but the fall isn't so significant. Mind you, it iis better than it was.
1GBP = 71.4 Baht
1U$ = 37.4 Baht.
not half as much movement as you would expect after a military coup.
I was in Turkey, when they devalued the lira in the late 1990's.
The pound doubled against the Turkish lira overnight.
^ Nothing has changed that much.No decisions regarding monetary policy will be made etc.Peacefull takeover of government etc.
See what happens after the erections...
I am changing baht to sterling tomorrow. FECK
i am buying dollars as well but this looks nice today.

It's better to buy when it's down, then wait til it comes back up.Originally Posted by William
