Great shots BL. I appreciate you don't want to get too close and it's not the most cooperative of subjects, but a close up shot of the snakes head looking toward the camera with the same coloured cricket on his head would be an awesome shot.

i agree, but that was as far i was willing to go. i zoomed in a fair bit but was cacking myself just in case it lunged at me. i manged to 'shoe off' the snake in the plant pot, and i last seen it swimming towards the neighbors. miserable fookers anyway

I did consider that but wasn't sure the reference. Even went back to see if my shadow was in there!

not sure betty, but the big fuuker swimming in the other photo was a cobra, so the neighbors told me when we seen it.

a couple of wildlife around the house before we got flooded out.





this little chap was quite obliging, then he/she got well pissed off and lunged at the camera..
