definitely an agamid of some type, the family that also contains australian and chinese water dragons. I kept two hatchlngs in a tank for a couple of months before letting them go in the garden. Easy to look after and fascinating to watch them grow so quickly.Quote:

^ are they vegetarians ?
I'm using this Plumeria / Frangipani from the grounds of Villa SEA Traveler to take cuttings from and then drying the cuttings for about 5 days prior to planting the cuttings in pots of dirt. It seems that they are a thriving plant and are easy to transplant the cuttings as when I did this about a month ago, the replanted cuttings grew and started to flower after just 2 or 3 weeks. I'll post up some photos of the replanted cuttings that are now flowering when I get the chance.

This is a picture took from the top of a building on Suk Soi 15.
The blue building wih the gold dome is the new Terminal 21 building at the corner of Suk / Asok.
I think it really stands out compared to the buildings around it.
The architecture reminds me of the buildings in the old Flash Gordon series.
Hatchlings eat small insects and fruit. The insects have to be alive which means you have to maim the fly so it can't get away but is still wriggling. They won't touch it if it looks dead.Quote:

The big one in my previous post is an Australian Eastern Water Dragon. They are very closely related to Chinese Water Dragons. Yours could be any agamid all of which look quite similar as hatchlings although I don't think they all grow as big as the Eastern.Quote:

You need to give them a pool of water as they like to submerge themselves for their daily ablutions. They also like to poo in the water rather than on dry ground so the water needs changed often.
This afternoon, I went to pick up the keys to our new place. Typical London weather, when I was taking pictures from our flat and the area, it was grey and clousy. As soon as I got to Canary Wharf the sky cleared up and the lighting was good. Here are a couple of shots from there:

Well my apologies, cause I looked at that photo and said "no its bloody not" - but you are indeed correct. The blue glass and dome bit is actually "Bangkok Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit-Terminal 21" - a hotel connected to the shopping center.
I was surprised as I was in terminal 21 (shopping center) on monday, and could not jibe your picture with the architecture of the shopping center. All together, I can't say I think the two sections fit that well.....still one mans meat and all that.
Some bananas and pod recently formed on one of my many banana tress at Villa SEA Traveler. There is another bunch of bananas on a tree just to the left of this bunch which are almost ready to be cut off the tree and eaten.

The little one likes to do an impression of a gecko by balancing on her tail and pretending that she is sticking to the glass.

She also likes to do yoga with her legs stretched out behind her.

The big one is learning to ride a miniature tricycle round the tank whilst playing the harmonica. To be honest I think he is setting his sights a bit high but I admire his ambition so I am trying to be encouraging without making him feel under pressure to succeed :)
Picked 2 kanoon (JACKFRUIT) from tree in back yard a few days ago and let the Fruit sit for a few days before cutting and cleaning. Yesterday I cut the fruit open and cleaned and pitted the fruit. This is what it looked like when it was ready to eat. Sweet as the dickens and enough Jackfruit for breakfast for a week. I have not yet cut open the 2nd Jackfruit as it still has another day to ripen. The sweet smell of the Jackfruit has not yet permeated to skin.

Local men in Silom have been put on high alert following growing reports of a group of angry women who have been gathering in the area.

^Bloody nightmare to get to.
The owner is a nice lady though.
If you ever stay there, ask for Tam Pon or her grumpy sister Tamp Ax.
Tell them the Timothy Month sent you.

On Saturday (May 5) at 11:35 p.m. EDT, the moon will officially turn full. And only 25 minutes later the moon will also arrive at perigee, its closest approach to Earth — a distance of 221,802 miles (356,955 kilometers) away.
The effect of this coincidence is a stunning skywatching sight called the "supermoon." : 'Supermoon' Science: Why Saturday's Full Moon is Biggest of 2012 | Space.com
nice catch with the photo Landreth. nothing like a full moon on Cinco de Mayo!
Visited the Preussen Park in Berlin today.
Some joker tried to dress up the Borussia Statue with a T-Shirt, but it fitted only over her helmet.

But that park goes with another name nowadays. It is known as the Thai Park now. Thai congregate there for a snack and some gambling. Today was a special occasion. 150 years diplomatic relations between Thailand and Germany were celebrated with some program. The first performers were Thai and Thai/German students living in Berlin.

But most of the program was from a dance group from Bangkok.

I have plenty of photos and am considering making a photo thread from them.
A picture thread would be interesting.
And very welcome.

Every time there is a full moon the wife will put out all the lights around the outside of the house and walk around the garden.
She says it like being in a black and white movie.
When I am there, she insists that I accompany her on this ritual.
She always asks me if I see the Rabbit in the moon, which I always deny,
(just to wind her up).
^ That rabbit looks as clear as daylight.
Never noticed those black lines on the moon before though.
Yeah I've never seen them too Bogon
What the fcuk is that about?
Sigh!!! .
