Walked out on my patio today and met this Bird, it was kind enough to remain in the same place while i went back inside to get the camera, after a few photos it moved a few yards into the green cover.
Found it in my book "A photographic guide to the Birds of Thailand"
Green billed Malkoha (Phaenicophaeus tristis) it was quite a big bird approximately 40cm - 45 cm from beak to tip of tail. Quite common I believe but a first for my patio.

nice catch Larvidchr. I especially like the colors captured on the 1st picture. I like the pose of the 2nd picture with the bird looking directly at the camera. The 3rd is my favorite though. I like the fact that the bird is slightly hidden but in focus compared to the surrounding greenery. Nice pictures.
