A pointy mountain in the North Brisbane hinterland
Miss Lusty let me drive the long and winding Clear Mountain road. You can see the Glasshouse mountains in the distance even at 24mm
Panorama of Lake Samsonvale
A muted sunset behind the clouds from the lake's edge
I stopped at Mount Coot-tha on the way home for a panorama of Brisbane by night since I had not been up there before.
I got to the lookout and there was nobody there and there is a railing where you look out from. I needed a jimmy riddle and having one from such a splendid spot seemed like too good an opportunity to miss so I whipped out the old fella and was waiting for the plumbing to kick into action when I became aware of a girls voice saying something from a few meters away and just below me. As my eyes adjusted to the darkness I became aware of several people lying on their backs on a rug on a patch of grass right below the lookout railing. I tucked the old fella back in smartish. It seems by their continued murmured conversation that they had not seen the old chap in the moonlight or what I was about to do. It is hard to imagine what the outcome would have been if I had actually let go with a drenching of piss onto their skyward turned faces!
