Somchai and his female sidekick came today and de-grimed the aircon units. I was inspired to do this after reading a thread two days ago which showed the black grime that was cleaned out of theirs.

I won't fear legionaires disease for a few months now.

Bet this place has seen some budget action. Ramkamhaeng 65, the better rooms overlook the Klong San Saep

They have built those structures which when lit at night look like flowers, huge things they are. ya can see the walkway in that pic.

Singapore is brilliant for a visit, lots of good stuff to see and do.

Had lunch here a couple of years back.

Not that bad actually. Ate in the veranda bit with an outside bar.

Some hidden lunch spots around the area.

Go check this place out next time your up that way.

    On Soi 42

You need to find the one that bit that bad boy's tail off. It's re-grown again but not to full length.

The area is hardly renowned for its quality of environment/living.
    Too many buildings like this

Or nondescript roads like this..(Ram 24)

And let's face it. The only fast way in or out is by a noisy, overcrowded rickety old boat along a filthy poisoned canal

Marina Bay Sands area, I believe. They often show this area on tv shows.. Another place for me to check out on the list. I saw the pool they have on the rooftop of Marina Bay Sands which looks awesome.

I see this billboard every day on the way home from work. It is at the end of an overpass walkway and reminds me of Thailand or the beaches of Australia I've been to..for some reason.
