Irish National War Memorial Gardens - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Irish National War Memorial Gardens is an Irish war memorial in Islandbridge, Dublin, dedicated "to the memory of the 49,400 Irish soldiers who gave their lives in the Great War, 1914–1918",[1] out of over 300,000 Irishmen who served in all armies.
The Memorial Gardens also commemorate all other Irish men and women who at that time served, fought and died in Irish regiments of the Allied armies, the British, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, South African and United States armies in support of the Triple Entente's war effort against the Central Powers.

2 female Golden Orb Weavers in the garden.
Each one as big as my hand.
Males are much smaller and do not live long enough to brag to their mates after copulation.

It would be a hell of a pull for me to leave that ^ for Thailand anywhere
It looks gorgeous !
The Royal Thai Navy is invading our beach (Cha Am) unloading dozens of sailing boats for next week's regatta.

Thais and their thinking that if one ignores a problem it will go away. Here is a utility post that was hit by a tractor. Been like this for months now.
A few hundred meter's away is this. Same same. no one wants to fix.
Out cycling today I come up to a monk ceremony at a temple. It's the first time i seen elephants used in delivering the novice to the temple. My missus told me that the hire of the elephants for 2 days was 10,000 baht each, 3 in total. You get to keep the shit.

Nice way to spend an evening out. Especially when your Thai girlfriend enjoys baseball (or maybe just Stanton).
About the photo: Bottom of the fifth and Stanton ties the game up at 3 against the Mets.
Best part of the game might have been when Ichiro came up to bat in the 8th with a man on first and third with two strikes against him, he hits a home run.
It was a good game. Marlins win 7 – 3 against the Mets.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
I published photo's of this road on another threads but I can't find it to do a follow up. So this will do.
Road has been badly built and a number of soft spots have appeared. They have been repaired numerous times but not properly. Anyway, after a few months of being dangerous they've come up will a solution to making it safe. They brushed all debris into the hole and rolled it. And just to make it that little bit better they planted a tree. And then they stuck a red rag on it to show the danger.
And before the safety measures.
