Without having to be religious about it, it does prevent spamming of irrelevant old photos sourced from god knows where, the freshness of the photos, or the recent acquiring of an old photo and the stories behind, is what makes this great thread IMO.Quote:

I think it is more likely my great grandfathers era.
He was Harbourmaster in Suriname, a Dutch colony in South America.
My Grandfather was in Indonesia for a time (where my father was born)

Birds in flight are one of the most difficult subjects and you probably want to upgrade from a mobile phone camera if you want to get into it more seriously :)

Cheers looper, green coming yeah im gonna buy a decent camera, i have no zoom on this tab. With my blind eye and their movement they stood out beautifully. I leapt out of my bed to get on the balcony to get the pics. Then when i looked at the pics i couldnt see them. I will show u some more with them both in
I do have them both in one pic but it looks rubbish. This is the best one nige will see through his cataracts :-)
