Got a friend popping over for Christmas, regular visitor to Los, for this trip he wants to hire a supercar.
Can they be hired in Bangkok? If so where?
Cheers.

define supercar please. If its American muscle no.
^ quick, but nowhere near true supercar class.
Usually someone's pride n joy, doubt they are for hire, but good luck
DD I see you lurking, before you even think of posting a pic of your shitty red puegot, don't!
Ferrari, Lotus, Porsche, Mercedes, Aston Martin, and BMW?
Visit Ferrari and other high end showrooms at Siam Paragon. They may be able to help.
BMW here:
Thailand Limousine Service, Thailand Car Rental, Marter Car Rental
It's going to be a bad move if he does, IMHO. Better off sticking to Jet Skis in Phuket.Originally Posted by kfjvkjvk

Dont know if it is for real though!
You can rent Z4s there but they are not really supercars.
Ask butterfly to rent out his Maserati Quadroporte
Didn't realise we had such high rollers here...!
I don't own a puegot dick, I got a sexy fuking fast red car though.Originally Posted by kingwilly

Ok, and I think this is what he will be happy with, a Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini or something similar.
Where did you get that price from Mr. Earl, do you know if they can be rented in BKK?
Why? A supercar, with it's low ride height is going to bottom out on the speed bumps and uneven roads of Bangkok. It probably won't even fit down some of the smaller sois.
I've got a great idea, let's hire a 200 mph car and let it sit idle in traffic for 8 hours straight.
Seriously, do it in Germany or somewhere similar where you can get up to a decent speed without Somchai and his 5 kids cutting you up on a motorcy going in the wrong direction.
The import duty on these cars is so high that a decent supercar costs about 1 million US dollars in Thailand. I honestly don't see many people buying them for renting out.

Mortals you defy the Gods, I sentence you to travel among unknown stars, until you find the Kingdom of Hades, your bodies will stay as lifeless as stone.
Bkkmadness - why dont you explain to your friend that in Bangkok you dont need to drive a flash car in ordr to pull
Recognise a common denominator huh ?
Cannot drive a car that fast to warrant it here in los anyway.
friend had his new Sports merc up to 200k's on the tollway from pattaya to Bkk....but thats it and damn scary the way the other people drive....its not you, its them.
he totalled it also.
I like poisoning my neighbours dogs till they die cos I'm a cnut
I asgree with most people here it doesn't sound like a very smart move to rent one, but he asked me so I asked the TD crowd.
If the man wants to drive round (sit in traffic) in a Ferrari for a few days, who am I to stop him?
I think it's time Butterfly took his motor up to cowboy with him, might have some better luck with the ones that turn him down.Bkkmadness - why dont you explain to your friend that in Bangkok you dont need to drive a flash car in ordr to pull
Butterfly is too scared to take his car anywhere these days in case anyone makes a tiny scratch on it.
BKKm - as mentioned before try Master Car for the Aston martin. Better than a Ferrari any day.
Yep I will pass that info on to him today, that might do him actually.
