I'm no auto industry maven, just a consumer, but I'm about 36 months driving a Mitsu Triton that was made here, and I'm loving it so far...time will tell, but so far so good. I was told also that some of the Tritons made here are exported to Aus. and SA.

Thailand is the World's second biggest pick-up producer next to the US.

Oh I'm sure there's links. Can't be bothered searching them out though, given your renowned inability to admit when you're wrong.

By the way, do you realise that in the space of 2pgs you've gone from referring to the Camry as 'low-end' to 'middle of the road'? Which is it?

seems like you are the one that needs to get out and meet some real manufacturers what with you blowing smoke up Thai ass about their fine quality when anyone that understands will not brag on Thai quality control.

Thanx for the additional info. Can we thus say that the Thais make quality pick-ups? I'm certainly pleased with mine so far.

To clarify, I would consider the Camry 4-cylinder models to be low end and the 6-cylinder models to be mid-range.

Not that there's anything wrong with either configuration.

Why should I search? You are the one throwing accusations around with no back-up.

You don't provide links but expect others to. There's that patented Tud disingenuity...

Anyways not accusations Turd, comments and observations based on my experience. You have in the past made erroneous statements in regard to the same topic of the Camry. I know you have, you know you have, and I doubt most others give a toss. That's enough for me.

I wasn't accusing other members of something though.

Being that a goodly and significant number of your 395 posts to date have been your silly little comments directed at me or posting pics ripped from my Facebook account in entirely unrelated threads that's a bit rich coming from you, innit.

Nike Bauer , Mission Itech and Easton helmets are Made in Thailand , pure and utter quality in production all the way down the line.

Pretty neat ain't it. wonder where he is from and who he has been doing business with to have such thoughts about Thai quality?
everyone else seems to have it fairly well dialed in. and I worked my first Thai crew over 40 years ago.

Now that you think you have the one up on me BG , why are you so angry with the world ?

I cannot comment on your 40 years of command over the Thai People and your inability to produce results.

Maybe more to the BG story than meets the eye.

The difference being that your Mitsubishi was not designed by Thais, nor was the manufacturing process, nor are the upper level management Thais... Mitsubishi merely placed the assembly / manufacturing facility in Thailand due to cheap labor... No brains required, just put part A into slot B and tighten bolt C...
