I can't seem to find any music I like at the moment. Any recommendations for me?

Last.fm – The Social Music Revolution is good for suggestions based on stuff you already like.
What are you looking for? pop, rock, classical, electronic, bluegrass, death metal?

I'll listen to anything from Nina 99 red balloons to NWA fuck the police. My taste in music is eclectic to the extreme. Post what you like.

    mwng.

the super furry animals only Welsh language album made on their own label after they had made enough money from bastardising themselves in english.

seriously a wonderful album regardless of language. translations of the lyrics can be found easily for you folk not fortunate enough to understand god's lingo. well worth the download.

Ymaelodi ar ymylon (living on the periphary) is probably my favourite and most played song of all time.

OK, let's narrow it down just a tad. What are you bored of?

    Ancient beatbox are quite fabulous.

used to be Blowzabella and are a kind of funky folk with the hurdy gurdy to the fore, played by the wonderful Nick Eaton.

good luck finding one of their albums to download.

i've been trying for the last 6 years and my vinyls are still in the UK.

went to a hurdy gurdy workshop given by Eaton in about 1990 in the Pontardawe folk festival.

about 500 people turned up but only 2 of them had hurdy gurdies.

Don't know where you live mad dog, but go sit outside a while. Listen to the sounds all around, something will draw you down its path. Then hum along to the tune that is in only you. Then bang some old Zepp on.

Came across this guy by accident, and was amazed by his music, so went out and got the CD`s. I think hes a great modern blues player, and am really surprised he wasnt discovered back in his homeland a long time ago.
