    Good morning all...

    Goodmorning all.

What's your day gonna look like? Mine is quite busy few meetings and the like, plus I've been away a week, our work internet was rooted for 2 weeks - so I've got a bit of catching up to do. and the missus is a bit sick.

The temp got down to 18 deg last night in my office. It's warmed up to chilly 22 now. The sun is shining and I'm on my way out the door for a 20Km bicycle ride. That oughta warm me up. Then another 10 - 12 hours writing code. With a break in there somewhere for a meeting.

Life is so exciting here in the north.

Lovely cool morning here. A couple of cups of coffee and a look at the news on the net. Then off to CK to return some friends who've been here for the w/e. Maybe lunch in CK, wander round the market, then home. Walk the dog. Dinner, Intenet, bed for a good sleep. Same same really.

Turbo work for 1 hour, band practice, lunch, more work, tidying up the office, dinner, movie, sleep.

And yes, it was even a little nippy outside when I got up at 8. Great feeling. Watched Gilmore girls last night and dreamed of nippy autumn, this is as close as it gets here I guess.

    Good morning KW.

Same, same manic mayhem and disorganized progression on these jobs here. The plant is being picked up on Wednesday on their way to Malaysia. 2 days to finish 10 days work.

Maybe out for dinner with a few of the TD people tonight and if I can clear the mess that's in front of me today.

Hope your missus feels better real soon mate.

Slight hangover from last night, barbecue with friends, wild boar neck on a spit and copious amounts of nasty ass South African rum . . .

Crappy start to the day - A Vietnamese customer, who owes us close to RM800.000 says he needs more time . . . after 3 months in arrears - so I have to pop off to HCMC again to discuss this crap he is pulling.

Wanted to book our flight to Sydney on January 1st and the cost has doubled since last night, the 'cheap' seats on Malaysian Airways disappeared overnight. Bugger, that's an added RM2000 to the cost if I can do it today.

Our Indonesian partner wants to re-draft our terms after a shipment we sent off to him in July has been stuck in Jakarta since then . . . and incurring costs en masse . . . because he tried to avoid paying duty by declaring the end-user as being the Dept o Agriculture . . .

    FFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKK KKKK!!!!!!!!!!

On the stroke of midday I received a phone call from Australia that made my day
    - an ongoing (2+ years) court case has gone my way . . . time to celebrate!!!

Cleaned out 10 months of old e-mails (6000+) on an old account. Got zapped with 2500 new junk mails this morning. Time to get the filters sorted.

My schedule is my own. I tend to progress around the clock until I am completely fucked up then have to take drastic measures to rectify it. This usually invlves and all night/all day marathon then generous dosages of Beer supplemented by oe fore one shots of jamison, Jim Beam or Wild Turkey. I wake up feelig like shit the next day but am back on a 'normal' schedule. For a while.

Today was my first bike ride in about a month after a couple months of a daily routine, felt good. I took it easy still made it in under a hour. The riding is paying off. I recently notice some pants I had a hard time buttoning were no longer tight, and some are down right loose. Thought I was losing weight, I've gained two kilos (96 kilos!)and lost an inch off my waist.

Maybe life's not so bad after all.

What started out perfectly had spiraled down into a heap of shit.

Got back from CK to be greeted by emails from a bit of a mate who's got another mate, whom I've met twice. The latter caused major problems on both occasions that I met him. Turns out that after 3 months in China he's on his way back to CK, stoney broke and thinks I'm going to bail him out.

He's asked me to drive 2 hours to pick him up off the cargo boat from China. He then wants accommodation for 2-3 weeks while he "gets things sorted".

He went to China to get a teaching job, on forged papers, that's all gone tits up, he's lost his wallet, his aged mother in Manchester, UK can't send him any cash cos she needs to pay her heating bill. etc etc etc.

    What the fok to do.

Yes. I know. I can tell him to fok off and die.

    But.........

I don't know. I've got 3 days to decide. Time for a beer.

Give him enough for a bus fare to Bangkok. If he can't get work here, he may as well end it all now. It's up to him to sort himself out, not you.

That had occurred to us, but he'll just stuff it up there as well. I don't want to see the bloke in prison. We'll see.
