    They shoot squirrels, don't they?

A funny article from the Guardian about some probably mentally imbalanced Englishmen that hunt grey squirrels in the UK. A quality Sunday afternoon read.

Grey squirrels...smart little fuckers..we used .22's to shoot them rather than shotguns.

Yeah, I reakon that it would be a pain in the arse picking the shot out. Let alone it would probably blow them half away.

I wonder if red and grey taste different.

I get woken up most mornings by a couple of squirels havin a bit of a party on my roof. I think I'd get in trouble though for shooting a gun in Bangkok.

    A .410? You'd be better off with a rock or a blowpipe!
Didn't the Uk have a problem a few years back with squirrels?, can't remember which one it was, red or grey, but one of them was a vicious bastard and almost wiped out the other species...think it was the grey squirrel that got the better of the red, the red being native to the UK.

Correct, I think that the grey ones are a German variety, so they did actually beat us at something. I prefer the red ones, but the grey ones drink Carling Black Label.

Sadly, if they drink that shite, their demise is only a matter of time...Chang OK, they could have a year or so of madness before succumbing to the poison, but Carling...you wouldn't give that to a dying dog!

Here in the "hood" I've seen a couple of Thai's using pellet guns (CO2) to help with the pigeons in the area. Quiet, effective at short range and its easy to pick the shot out and its easy to hide the little hole in the pelt when you sell it.
