    Fake Ciggies

I used to smoke Krung Thep ciggies here when I first arrived, they were a bit like Marlboro, but cheaper, then I discovered Wonder Deng, these were very similar in taste to the cigs I had been used to and aquired a taste for when I worked in China (Hong Schwan Schee) or I think "Double Happiness".

Lately, the taste has gone, the sore throats abound, I am sure the shit they sell here at the small shops are fakes, probably Chinese or Burmese copies, even at 7/11 and Tesco, the quality varies from week to week, anyone noticed that cigs are getting worse? or is it my taste buds deteriorating?

I don't know, I always smoked Marlboro for years in the states, when I came here I smoked Gold City for about 6 years, K.T. were to rough for me and made me cough.
But since Decrmber I have not smoked a cig, feel better but still want a cig 24/7.

I've changed brands in this order

B & H which I like in the UK - foking rough here - I thought it was the car fumes I was tasting untill I changed.

London - Smoked these for a while quite enjoyed them in a facking laandan kind of way, my try a pack again soon.

Malboro Red - hit and miss but I like the stronger ciggies, fokked me right up after a couple of weeks, bad chest and that.

Marlboro light - like smoking the air from a fan through a straw

L & M reds - fairly happy with these at the mo but occasionally get a bad car fume pack.

Wish I could be bothered to give up

    Yours,

    Mr. Fag ash

Wish I could stop too, but have no will power, and besides, I enjoy them, when they are real, but the shite I have been getting lately, I think it's time to try something new.

I had a pack of those "LM's" you mentioned and they weren't bad, it's just the packs change in quality as fast as the wind blows..it seemsas though most of these are fakes where I am.

You were going to ask your mother about some names in Pontyclun...on Wednesday...did you? LOL, and you should stop smoking too! It's bad for you...hack hack..These shite ciggies have given me a real fucked up throat, to the point where I am considering going to see one of those antichrists called "Doctors" the like I have not visited in a period of 30 years except when forced to, by my previous company for a medical check!
And you know, I haven't suffered a single ailment until I visited these BASTARDS, I was in perfect health until I went there and was diagnosed with a FAT LIVER...bastards! How on earth would they know my liver had a weight problem!
5 Bottles of Chang a day keeps the doctor away, and everybody else too cause when I get pissed, I get the airgun out...funny how a lot of touts seem not to call by these days!

We used to get these TWATS come here at 6.30 in the morning trying to sell me fucking trees, it must have been an easy sell.."oh pop into the falangs place...he'll buy em"
    6. 30am...fuck, one night we'd been on a bit of a binge, and as one does on occaision, I woke up at about 5am and resampled the Low Khao..and by 6 am was not in a pleasnat demeanor, and at about 6.15, this fucker comes down the drive trying to sell me his dying coconut trees, he's never been back!

You smoke the worst quality and cheapest cigarettes in Thailand and wonder why you get a sore throat? Why would anybody in China want to fake some low-cost local Thai brand, especially when that brand is owned by the government, when it's much safer and more profitable to fake international, commercial brands. No, they're not fake - you just smoke shitty cheap ciggies.

Why would anyone light a dried weed on fire and suck the smoke into his lungs?

    The mind boggles.

Probably true, maybe just poor quality, but you can buy cheap cigs in china for less than 1 Yuan for 20, so the incentive is there. Brand em as Wonder or whatever, and sell them for 32 baht, quite a nice profit! roughly 4 baht a pack, then sell for 32....and they even faked their own cheap brands in China too! You had to use a magnifying glass and look at the printing on the packs to determine if they were genuine, the reall double happiness had a special "jagged" edge to the lettering, which was apparently nearly impossible to copy correctly.
