What have you done for your soi dog lately?

One of the local soi dogs came round last night and cooked me a gaeng kiew wan gai curry with chips. It was no pre-packaged job but made from scratch using all the right ingredients. It was fantastic and I overlooked the fact that the silly bitch served it with chips, (that's french fries to you Yanks)!

I was really impressed with the taste!!

Also as I was popping out to pick up some cement from the local B & Q, the other dog ran a quick chamois over my Ford Capri.

    Lovely isn't it?

So what have you guys done for your soi dog recently?

Fair nuff. I take it you had to leave out a few pages of mutual suck off action from the original.

That brings a little story to mind. Couple of years ago when in Thailand was out for a drive with the g/f. Dog runs infront of me, and natural reaction was hit the brakes and of course went into a skid, but didn't hit the dog. Recovered the skid and drove on, then the g/f goes ape-shit.

'Why you do that, no matter you hit dog, no one care'. Try explaining to a Thai that it is law in your country that you have to report it to the police if you kill a dog, and the braking was a natural reaction on my part.

Her retort ' You are in Thailand, nobody care here' The rest of the drive to our lunch stop was then completed in silence, when to my surprise she said sorry to me for her outburst and not listening to my reasons, which on thought she understood.

In the NT and in all of Aus I'd never swerve for beast or bird.

It's just tto easy to go off the road and roll. Keep straight and trust in your roo bar.

Ignore the bumps when in the vicinity of communities, they were asleep anyway and won't have felt much.

    Onwards, ever onwards.

Plenty of people have been killed by Kangaroos coming through their windshields and upon impact.
Hit a wombat and you can rip out the front end of your car.
Think you would need something like a hummer driving in the Ozzie outback.
Not to mention camels and the snakes that whip around and end up driving home with you hiding in the undercarriage of your car.
Go in the water and the sharks and crocs get you!~

I don't know about taking care of soi dogs as to me they are nothing but a pain. I figure if you have a dog, take care of the fricken thing and don't let it run the streets, it's your dammm dog, keep it in your yard. I'm ready to kill the 2 dammm dogs running in my area because they try to bite the kids. If this happens, there will be at least one dead dog or two depending if they ever bite the kids. To he11 with the dammm things.

I am not quite sure if the OP was referring to the canine version of the "Soi dogs"and as he has titled them.

I suggest he is referring to the locals who hang around the Soi quite possibly looking for a hand out as such for doing odd jobs.

Landcruiser with a good roo bar has worked all right for me over the years. I hit a mob of roos outside Mt. Isa one night. Bits everywhere but only damage to car was a busted indicator light.

Never hit a camel though. That would be nasty.
