Perfectly grown Thai males obsessed with computer games

No wonder Thai females are looking for a farang to look out for them when their choice of male of their own race is still firing a machine gun "mouse" at the age of 28 at high volume.

I even had a look at this game myself and apart from being an overgrown or not yet grown up teenager, I can't make a case for these immature boys..is it really because they indeed have small c*cks like the rumour goes and they are living up to being immature in both departments?

    congrats big guy.
hopefully you'll be able to save enough to buy your own computer one day so you don't have to hang out in internet cafes.

I love it that you think it's hilarious to "goad" me because you think I'm one of them "save the vinyl" type of guys.

I'm not even a DJ any more really...nor am I interested in what format I play music from anymore.. I use my PC wherever I can take it. I'm waiting for the wi-fi equipment to arrive any day now at my new condo (it's only wi-fi) then I won't have to sit in such places paying 15 Baht for 60 Minutes listening to gunfire.

Are you offended that I may not play vinyl? And that I would load CDs? Sounds like you really care about it!!

    ^ Got to say Pat.

Been listening to DNBradio and chatting with some of the folks on there whilst they were mixing live from their bedrooms, three decks, samplers, mp3's

Fucking amazing. I remember the first Pioneer CDDJ deck that was pure poo. Lads on there are now telling me they can do pretty much anything that they could do with vinyl with a USB mixer with jog wheels on it.

i like playstation games, and i don't find them any more futile than online forums. I do both, mindful that they jointly represent my most mindless uses of time.

I bought my playstation 2 at the age of 35 a couple of years back.

gave it to my 9 year old nephew as he enjoyed it more than I did.

don't see any harm in adults playing games though.

Internet cafes are breeding grounds for Thailand's losers.

I am of course not talking about the nice, mint clean ones in tourist areas that have flat screens, clean toilets and comfortable chairs - I'm talking about the other ones that smell farty and musty, only open when they feel like it and are packed full of useless, un-motivated, ambitionless, fat, spotty young zombie teenagers all playing Special Force or whatever it is - they're all at it, shooting each other up in a virtual world outside of the real world which to them consists of masturbation and going to other internet cafes when the owner of their regular one is asleep and can't be arsed to open up.

I'm so glad I'm now online at home and I no longer have to endure these places on a regular basis - I used to visit 3 or 4 before I could find one that can load a web page in less than five minutes.

Most of them are full of mosquitoes, have big vinyl chairs that either spring to an uncomfortable right angle position or recline so much you can't reach the keyboard, and leave your arse damp with sweat and provide service with as much enthusiasm as the tuk-tuk drivers and cleaners of tomorrow who spend every waking moment playing their mind numbing silly games.

I'd had enough of keyboards with no letters on them, messenger that never finishes loading and pop up boxes asking me if I want Windoze to remember this password or turn Auto-Complete on or view pages over a secure connection.

I agree with most of DJ Pat's rants, he's somewhere between me and Smeg.

My advice: Just keep movin' straight ahead. Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

Mine didn't. Having said that, he didn't play computer games, either.

My farang ex-husband played computer games all the time, though...

And these rants, what is it with Hotmail that always wants you to be "remembered on this computer"?? and keyboards with the letters rubbed out? How the fuck did that happen?

    As for being between a **** and whatever, I am a **** and I don't deny it.

Nothing wrong playing video games as long as it's not an obsession. Some people care their car, motorbike, poker, booze or any other hobby more than their wife, family. Not better IMO.

And I agree, most internet cafes in this country are a pain in the a**.

In my opinion, it is totally up to them what they do with their lives. They are not hurting anybody. I agree on how annoying it is but nobody forced you to go there. Also many of these guys can't afford their own computer / Internet connection whereas a farang can (or should be able to since living in LOS).

Most annoying experience in one of those places for me was when I needed to compose a very large email, which took a bit of thought. The girl next to me played the EXACT same song over & over again until I left. It was that really annoying one by the black eyed peas last year - the one about her 'hump' or whatever. Worse was after listening to that crap for an hour I couldn't get it out of my head for days

Thais seem to have some kind of immunity to absurd repetition!
